It looks like Zula's not the only skateboarder in town...

Christmas 2012

We spent Christmas this year in Phoenicia, New York.

Of course, I spent a lot of time in my favorite spot.

Zula got a skateboard for Christmas 

and Aunt Bridget tried it out.

Uncle John helped Oliver learn to dunk

and gave Zula some skateboarding pointers. 

Oliver wants a skateboard too, one day.

For now, he and Zula can run races. 

Looks like she's getting the hang of it!

And then, surprise -- it snowed!

MLK

While Grandaddy was in town,

 we went to see the new MLK memorial.

It was a beautiful evening. 

And I had the best seat in the house!

Ari Zev's 1st Birthday Party

My first birthday party was great!

It featured a homemade cake by Mommy,

baseball with Grandaddy,

river explorers,

doggies,

good friends,

and family.

I can't wait until next year!

I had a great dinner on my first birthday -- Grandaddy, Grandma, Grandpa and Great-Aunt Ann were there!

The pesto pasta was delicious

and so were the homemade cupcakes.

Then it was time for presents!

My big brother and sister helped me unwrap everything.

I like this fox

and so does Gideon!

This toy is pretty cool, too.

A good time was had by all!
