Snowmaggedon!

You guys didn't think this was over did you?

Here's a shot of our house four days ago...

And here it is tonight, another foot or so of snow later (and that's Zula, not me, in the foreground -- she's a lot taller!)

Here's the snowman we built yesterday.

And here's the poor thing today, after the latest storm.

Daddy went out and shoveled during the blizzard this morning.

Zula and I decided we don't really like blizzards.

We'd rather build forts on the couch in our pajamas.

When we do get out of the house these days, this is how we travel.

Hanging out with friends is a good idea to stave off the cabin fever.

Building giant snowballs is also always a good idea.

Aren't the woods beautiful in the snow?

Who says you can't go to the playground in the snow?

or visit art installations in the woods?

This is looking like the new normal, folks. 

To be honest, I'm kind of forgetting what life was like when there wasn't 3 feet of snow on the ground.

when we, like, rode around in cars and stuff (here's a shot of what our car looks like tonight -- and yes, that's after shoveling it out twice in the last three days.)

Hey, I'm not complaining --  I can't say I miss that carseat!
