I'm back! Happy fourth of July everyone. I hope you're enjoying the fireworks tonight. You'll have to tell me how they were because unfortunately I'll miss them. In order to maintain my early morning schedule I have to go to bed before the sun sets. But don't feel bad. As Ben Franklin always said, "the early bird gets the worm!" Guess where I am? That's right....I'm in Wachapreague, Virginia. This weekend my mom, dad, and I went to the eastern shore and stayed in the sleepy fishing village of Wachapreague. We stayed in the most charming house (thank you Carl, Carrie, and the Kappel family!). The house dates back to 1882. Posted by Picasa

Here I am inside the house. Posted by Picasa

And here I am in the kitchen. Check out these linoleum patterns. Posted by Picasa

Between naps, my daddy and I worked on our tans. If you look closely you'll notice that we are a little less white. Posted by Picasa

To keep cool we built a small mud pool by the shore line. My daddy used his hands but, as you can see, I chose to use a blue shovel. Posted by Picasa

As a reward for all my hard work, my mom treated me to my first ever ice cream cone. And guess where we got that ice cream cone.... Posted by Picasa
